AIR TIME: Danish TV channel TV3 launches a new fashion program called “Trendsætterne” (or ‘Trendsetters,’ in English), in cooperation with fashion portal Trendsales. It’s like “Project Runway” with an eco twist, where seven young designers will compete to make new outfits with second-hand clothes.

Stylist Pernille Teisbæk, 31, whose Instagram profile Lookdepernille counts 240,000 followers is to host the new show, set to start airing this fall. Jury members have yet to be revealed.

“The idea of ??the program is to refocus second-hand clothing, as well as inspiration for how you can recreate your wardrobe without buying new. We think the concept is a great opportunity to create interesting content along with the elite of the Danish fashion scene and creative design talent,” said Eva Kemp, vice president at Trendsales.

New outfits will be presented on where Trendsales’ users can vote for their favorite design. One designer will exit the show each week.

The winner will be awarded a trip to Premiere Vision trade fair in Paris and a collaboration with Designers Remix founder and creative director Charlotte Eskildsen to prepare a capsule collection that will be presented during the Copenhagen Fashion Week in February 2016.
