FILM SCHOOL: Prada continues to develop its relationships with the movie industry. The Milanese brand has tapped actors Scoot McNairy, Michael Shannon and Tye Sheridan to appear in its men’s fall 2015 advertising campaign. Shot by photographer Craig McDean on a neutral background, the black and white images feature portraits of the actors caught in static poses breaking into unexpected theatrical gestures. These pay homage to the Seventies’ photographic technique of outtakes.
McNairy, Shannon and Sheridan sport outfits from Prada’s collection for fall, including the black nylon suits which marked the brand’s return to its minimal stylistic roots. The campaign debuts today in Italian men’s magazine L’Uomo Vogue, L’Officiel Hommes and Rivista Studio.
